God calls us to be good stewards of his creation, the big and the small, the complicated and the simple.
And we are a part of that creation, and not just our hearts and minds but our bodies as well. So we need to be a good steward of not just the birds and the bees but also our bodies, and one of the ways to do that is to exercise!
Exercise is not about being obsessed with aerobics or lifting weights, getting bulky muscles or becoming skinny but more so just moving our bodies on purpose. Being intentional with moving each and every day beyond our regular routine! It can be as simple as going grocery shopping but parking farther away to add a few more steps to your day. Or you may want to explore different formats and activities that make exercise fun and rewarding! The goal for us should not be what our body looks like but what our body feels like, asking ourselves are we honoring God with how we are treating our bodies
I offer a 50 minutes fitness class (including warm up and cool down) paired with a 15 minute devotional that focuses on how God calls us to care for our bodies.
The workout is MMA and boxing inspired, non-contact and uses no additional equipment, just body weight resistance. It has high energy music and is amazing for all fitness levels as you can easily modify all of the moves. We focus on form and feeling strong, not speed and getting skinny. The goal of this class is to not only feel accomplished, but also feel strong!
